BULK CARGO SHIPPING

The main cargoes include tons bag cargoes (furnace charge, cement, fertilizer, etc.), steel (wire steel, round steel, steel plate, steel coil, steel pipe, etc.), large mechanical equipment (UHV power transformation equipment, wind power generation equipment, engineering machinery, mining machinery, grain and oil machinery, boiler condensate tank, steel structure, lifting equipment, belt conveyor line, tower crane, fishing boat, yacht, etc.), construction vehicles (tractor, dump truck, mixer truck, refueling truck, oil transport single truck, sprinkler truck, powder tanker truck, truck crane, pump truck, oil transport semi-trailer, grain semi-trailer, solid material semi-trailer, high-rail semi-trailer, van truck, advertising vehicle, etc.) and other material types (plywood, asphalt, tile, tire, etc.) that are characterized by large quantity of cargoes in a single batch or large size or overweight of cargoes, and not suitable for containers or cargoes with lower transportation cost than ordinary containers.
Bulk cargo ships are usually operated with cranes. Basically, each ship has its own lifting rod (ordinary ship crane load is 30MT), and some ships are equipped with heavy cranes (ship crane load is more than 30MT) or even large cranes (ship crane load is more than 100MT), which are specially used to transport large (heavy) cargo that cannot be disassembled, especially huge and cannot be carried by ordinary ships.

FLAT RACK SHIPPING

Flat rack containers neither have top walls nor side walls, and some even remove the vertical walls, leaving only the bottom plate and four corner columns (used as platform containers).
Flat rack are mainly used to transport over-wide and over-high (OWOH) cargoes, with a maximum length limit of 11.6 meters and a theoretical weight limit of 36 MT (it is recommended not to exceed 34.5 MT depending on the loading and unloading port's shore crane situation). In some cases, cargoes with a length exceeding 11.6 meters can also be accepted, but the cost will increase significantly.
Flat rack mainly transport nude cargoes, cargoes that are afraid of water or moisture should avoid this transportation type as much as possible. If transportation is necessary, it is recommended to do waterproof and moisture-proof treatment in advance.
