for handling freight is one of the most advanced in Italy, a major road and railway junction between
Northern and Central-Southern Italy. The Emilia-Romagna Region is the 1st Italian region in terms
of exports per capita.
Thanks to Emilia Romagna Intermodal Cluster and the Port of Ravenna, the Emilia Romagna
Region is working to enhance intermodal services and support companies in expanding their
international presence throughout the European and international market. This it helps strengthen
the Emilia-Romagna region's position as a key logistics hub for Italy and the Mediterranean, but
will also create new development opportunities for logistics operators and international investors
interesting to reach Europe.
